Tynemouth

Wind Directions:
NNE, NE, ENE, E, ESE, SE, SSE

Details:
Tynemouth is the closest beach to Newcastle city centre and accessible via metro!
Parking can be hard to get hold of and is pretty expensive on weekends and bank holidays. Its also a very popular sport for surfers and families on nice days.
There are some rocks in the middle of the bay which need to be avoided at low tide, but the shallow shelving beach gives nice riding conditions when the wind is mostly onshore.
There is generally enough beach to launch from at all states of time.
