Details
One of the few spots that can be used in a westerly, Budle is a tidal bay that fills approximately 2 hours either side of high tide although it can be sailed for longer on a neap tide. Good location for all levels but not without some hazards including gusty winds and strong currents, particularly when on outgoing spring tide. Check the map for further information.

Beach to the SE of the mouth of the bay has similar conditions to Bamburgh which it adjoins, separated by a rocky outcrop.
