Details:
Blyth can be a popular spot due to its proximity to Newcastle, particularly during the summer months.
Sandy beach which retains space to setup during high tides, sand bars often change but sometimes a lagoon can form at mid to high tide.
Water conditions can be varied and the shoredump at Blyth is legendary, beginners should exercise caution in large swell.
The club has agreed a launch and setup area with the beach warden which applies from May to October. This will be signposted for the benefit of kiters and other beach users
