If you are interested in joining the NEKC then please take the time to read the proposed club constitution and code of conduct which describe how the club is organised, what its aims are and guidelines for membership.
In order to become affiliated with the British Kitesurfing Association (BKSA) the NEKC had to fulfil certain criteria including submitting risk assessments on beaches that the club members use and having an elected commitee and club officers. The committee and officer's role it is to make sure the club is well run for the benefit of its members and the community it is based in.
In turn, affiliation with the BKSA offers additional insurance and protection to the club, not just the individual members as well as assistance in resolving disputes or problems that crop up and support in organising events.

Club Structure
The club is run for its members by an elected commitee consisting of 4 club officers: The Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Social Officer and 4 commitee members. These positions were voted on at the inaugural meetings of the club and will face re-election every year at the AGM. Positions are entirely voluntary and unpaid and everyone involved is a local kiter.
